Cook the perfect steak with precise timing for each doneness level. Times are per side for a 1-inch thick steak on high heat. Always let your steak rest for 5 minutes after cooking to redistribute the juices. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy: rare 120-125°F, medium-rare 130-135°F, medium 135-145°F, well-done 155°F+.
