How Timers Work

All timer functionality runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you set a timer:

  • The countdown happens locally on your device
  • No data is sent to our servers
  • Your timer settings are not stored anywhere
  • Closing the page erases everything

The website is completely static. There is no database, no user tracking system, and no server-side processing of user data.

Embedded Timers

When you embed a PresentTimer on your website using our iframe code:

  • The timer runs independently in the iframe
  • No cookies are set in the parent page
  • No data is collected from the embedding site
  • No cross-site tracking occurs

Web Server Logs

Our web hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and operational purposes. These logs may contain:

  • Page URLs accessed
  • Time of access
  • HTTP status codes
  • Browser user agent strings

We do not access, analyze, or use these logs for any tracking purposes. They are automatically deleted after a short retention period set by our hosting provider.
